Iron Horses Can't Be Broken is now "officially" launched with Episode 3! Alton Bartleby's investigations commence, as he delves into a mystery ten years gone cold. Subscribe, rate, and review it on iTunes. You can also listen online at http://burningbrigid.com/category/synesthesia-theatre/. Each episode is only 20 minutes, and I am featured as one of the main characters throughout the season.
A note from Iron Horses author and director of the audio drama, Michael Coorlim: "Today episode 3 of the Iron Horses Can't Be Broken audio drama goes live. It's a steampunk western serial we've produced and are making freely available through the Synesthesia Theatre podcast, starring some of Chicago's finest vocal talent.I've waited until now to really post about it because I want you guys to be able to binge on the first couple episodes and get a good sense of it. We're really happen with how it turned out. So hey. If you want to hear what we've done, give it a listen. The first two episodes are on iTunes (third will be going live there whenever Apple gets around to it) and you can subscribe to it there, or directly through our RSS feed. If you like it, please consider writing a review on iTunes. It just takes a minute, and does a lot to improve our visibility."

Hey team!
Iron Horses Can't be Broken is officially on iTunes, and we're already got some great early reviews! Check it out and subscribe to get in on the meaty audio-drama podcast action. The "official" launch will be after the 3rd episode, when Burning Brigid Media really starts pushing. They're really fun, and a perfect 20 minute adventure for the daily commute. Episode 2 is now available on iTunes and at burningbrigid.com. I appear throughout this episode! Meanwhile, I'm getting ready for my second day of shooting for Emily, a short film by Abdullah Azizi, an MFA student at Columbia College. I play the title character in this film, which explores Emily's desire to get out and change her life, even if it starts with just a little conscious optimism and a couple small steps out the door. I'll definitely share when the film is complete! I had a couple more auditions today, and several more scheduled in the coming weeks, on top of The Dreamchild Neverists rehearsals over at Dream Theatre Company. The show is really starting to take shape - the main set construction is done, several of the puppets are near completion, and we're having way too much fun rehearsing this thing. Our General C.C. Possum might be the cutest thing on stage come March. Tickets should be available soon! Thanks for checking in, and I hope to have more news after the results of these next auditions!! Drumroll please.......the first episode of Iron Horses Can't Be Broken is now available!! I appear in this episode and throughout this steampunk western audio drama as Florence Bartleby. Give it a listen (free, and only 20 minutes!) and find the Synesthesia Theatre podcast on iTunes to rate, subscribe, and find more episodes as they're released! You can also subscribe to Synesthesia Theatre's mailing list for news, announcements, and a free audio drama episode. |
