So many exciting things to share today!
First, a heartfelt congratulations to playwright Daniel Guyton! His play, Death of a Snowman, which was first performed at the Phoenix Theatre in Indianapolis in A Very Phoenix Xmas 4: Our Stockings are Stuffed! has been published by Heuer Publishing! I played the role of Charlotte in the original production and am listed in the original cast in the printing of the play! Look for photos from the production in my photo gallery here. In other news, I can't be super specific because casting hasn't been finalized yet, but I have been offered a major role in the upcoming indie slasher film "The Birthday Massacre"! It is being produced in conjunction with Tornspace Films and White Hair Productions and will start shooting as early as October and continuing through the summer of 2011! Specifics to come once things are set. Let's just say if you aren't afraid of clowns now, you probably will be after this movie ;-) Finally, the great grand Medea tour (as I like to call it) is about to get underway! We perform for the paperMakers fundraiser (more info here) this Saturday and I couldn't be more excited! Feathers, folks. Lots and lots of feathers in this show. The we leave bright and early at 9am on Monday to take off for our first stop, Cincinnati, Ohio. For all our tour information and where to catch us this summer, make sure to check out my Current and Upcoming Projects page! Also--A Great article about the tour and paperStrangers at funcityfinder.com. That's all for now. I don't know how much internet access I'll have during the tour, but it will likely be very intermittent. I will try to update from time to time with photos, news, and stories from the tour as often as I can! Cheers, Amanda
