Spring/Summer Projects!

It's been a bit of a whirlwind this last month, and lots to catch up on! So here's what happening in Amanda-land:

• Starred as Harriet in a fully staged reading of local Chicago playwright Laura Nessler's new play, Pritchard's on Fire this past Saturday. This was the final staged reading of the 2015/16 Studies Saturni series with Talif Productions, and was directed by Alif Muhammad.  The reading went great with a delightful audience at the Pendulum Space, including the playwright herself!
• Recorded my 2 episodes for Synesthesia Theatre's next audio-drama serial, Cold Reboot, a near future science-fiction thriller. I play Nurse Carol, and am featured in episodes 4 & 5. This series will be released once the current serial, Iron Horses Can't Be Broken  concludes (episode 9 out now!).  Synesthesia Theatre is a podcast available on iTunes and produced by Burning Brigid Media using all Chicago local talent.
• Became an artistic associate with Fury Theatre Company! This delightful group has welcomed me with open arms, and I can't wait to see what comes of this new partnership. I've been assisting with marketing consultation and will direct a one-act in their upcoming Short Attention Span Festival. 
• Cast as Eleanor and Son #2 in The Curse on Mordrake House! This play will be performed in the 2016 Chicago Fringe Festival in Jefferson Park. Written by local playwright and performer Dan Jackson, and directed by Raphael Schwartzman, assistant directed and stage managed by Mikala Francini.  Performances August 31-September 11, 2016

Oh yeah - and Jonah and I moved into a new apartment! Its going to be a busy summer between rehearsals, summer volleyball, and the usual shenanigans, and I can't wait.  :)
